DEFINITIONS

Executives who are absent for a maximum of two general meetings, without a legitimate reason, are subject to dismissal from the association

Executives who are absent from office hours for two weeks, without a legitimate reason, are subject to dismissal from the association

Position of President is available exclusively to York University students enrolled in the Business and Society Program

Position of the Vice-President of external affairs is available exclusively for students who have been executive members of BUSO SA for a minimum of two terms

Position of the Vice-President of Internal affairs is available exclusively for students who have been executive members of BUSO SA for a minimum of two terms

Position of the President is available exclusively for students who have been executive members of BUSO SA for a minimum of one full term

In the case that there are no qualified candidates for the President and/or Vice President Positions, there will be a selection committee put in place. The selection committee will hold interviews for the vacant position(s).

The selection committee will be made up of the Current BUSO SA President, Current BUSO SA Vice-President, the head of Vanier College, and the coordinator of the Business and Society Department.

A term is defined as a academic semester (Fall and Winter), which consists of 4 months
