INTERPRETATION

BUSOSA and the Center for Student Community and Leadership Development at York shall be the authority for the interpretation of the Constitution and all subsidiary regulations. BUSOSA shall, however, make all determinations of construction and interpretation with due regard to the following, whichever are directly applicable given the circumstances:
I. Interpretations, if any, set out in the most current edition of Roberts Rules of Order (Newly Revised);
II. Interpretive precedents set by the Canadian House of Commons, including Speakers’ rulings;
III. Black’s Law Dictionary;
